NITEO's Annual Read-A-Thon!

February 2 – 8 2024

How can they read what they do not have?

~ Suzan Kituyi, Ugandan Educator
Many of us grew up surrounded by books and endless opportunities to read. However, this is not the case for everyone. Access to books is not equal around the globe.
This year we have set a goal of raising $5,000 to supply TEN LIBRARIES in Uganda with a shelf of Ugandan children’s books! Each shelf will have 80 books written and illustrated by a team of Ugandan authors and illustrators!

The cost of supporting one library is $500. This will provide 80 books, 7 Anchor Educational Charts, and a library organizational training!
Join NITEO Africa for our 3rd annual Read-A-Thon where we will be reading & raising funds to support community and school libraries in Uganda!
It’s as easy as 1 – 2 – 3:
1. Sign up by creating a Fundraising Page and set a reading and fundraising goal!
2. Invite friends & family to support you to reach your goal. All donations will receive a charitable donation receipt.
3. Pick up a book to read as many pages or minutes as possible over 7 days (February 2 – 8, 2024).
Join us as we Read & Raise to build bright & hopeful futures!
