Elohim Child Development Centre

Highlights

• Movie of the week, a popular event provided to those who have spent time reading in the library, is used as an incentive to keep kids engaged in reading and with their library

Supervised by Duncan, the literacy centre of Elohim is in support of the children of Bombo and particularly the orphans under Duncan’s care.  Karine Veldhoen first met the children in Bombo when Betty (Eva Ruf Centre director) drove Karine out to see the their dancing performance in a hut. At first sight, Niteo was completely captivated.  The children came and performed for the whole team the following day in Kampala and we knew at that moment, they would have a literacy centre.
